A community of friends is essential when living in a city that can be lonely at times.
We have multiple opportunities for growth and connection for all ages. Every Sunday, we stay after worship to chat over a cup of coffee, tea, and some nibbles provided by a church member. We also host regular meals, after-church outings in London, and special events to meet new friends and deepen relationships.
Following some insights about the evolution of our congregation in recent years, we held a series of Listening Groups in the autumn of 2024. These were conversations between 5-8 people intended to hear personal stories from our community and to discover our shared values. The aim was to deepen our relationships and to start imagining where God is leading us together.
At our Annual General Meeting in March 2025, we released a written report of the listening groups. In this document, you will find some powerful stories from our people alongside quotes and comments from others and a brief pastoral reflection from our ministers. There are 9 stories grouped with other quotes by a unifying theme. We hope you will spend some time with this report and explore the depth of experiences and values represented by our congregation.
