What to Expect

We are located in the heart of London’s vibrant West End, just a stone’s throw from Oxford Street and Tottenham Court Road. Upon arrival – whether you traveled by tube, bus, on foot, or by car – you can expect to be greeted with a warm, friendly welcome in a relaxed and informal atmosphere. At AIC, we want you to feel at home.

Eager volunteers are available to help you discover where we worship, where the children’s Sunday School classes meet, where the adult Sunday School class meets, how you can join the Fellowship Choir. We hope when you visit you will beable to stay for a post-worship coffee or tea and warm fellowship, which is held in the foyer of our sanctuary.

Our worship service is a blend of contemporary and traditional music, reflecting the rich musical talent that London has to offer. The service is structured but not rigid. The worship is organized around thematic series intended to intersect with our daily lives in ways that make it easy to apply the teaching in meaningful and tangible ways.

Dedicated paid childcare workers staff a creche during the adult Sunday School hour as well as the worship hour. Children 3-10 are invited to age appropriate Sunday School classes shortly after the morning worship service begins. We share in holy communion once a month, usually the first Sunday of the month.

The fellowship time which follows the service, is a place where you can get to know some of our members and meet newcomers as well. This is the place whereimportant friendships and relationship will emerge as you journey towards making AIC your church home.
