“You, Lord, hear the desire of the afflicted; you encourage them, and you listen to their cry, defending the fatherless and the oppressed, so that mere earthly mortals will never again strike terror.” ~Psalm 10:17-18

International Justice Mission, Cebu Office: Founded in 1997, IJM works with local governments and communities in Latin America, Africa and South and Southeast Asia to fight slavery, sex trafficking, sexual violence, police brutality, property grabbing and citizens rights abuse. IJM’s goal is to work through and strengthen local justice systems in order to help protect marginalized communities and bring criminals to justice. Beginning in 2017, AIC relaunched its partnership with IJM by sponsoring IJM’s office in Cebu, Philippines. This office, founded in 2006, works specifically to combat the cybersex trafficking of young children. Since its founding, IJM Cebu has been involved in the rescue of over 600 children and has seen 68 criminals convicted for sex trafficking crimes.

Health Outreach to the Middle East: Begun by a group of Middle Eastern Christians in North America, H.O.M.E. now supports 18 low-cost clinics, hospitals and medical projects throughout the Middle East in Egypt, Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon, Syria, Sudan and South Sudan. In particular, H.O.M.E.’s permanent and mobile clinics in Iraq and Syria have been a critical support on the frontline of the refugee crisis precipitated by the Syrian Civil War and the fight against Daesh. Through its Antioch Project, H.O.M.E. has trained over 3,000 physicians and healthcare professionals to work throughout the region as well as overseeing the creation of the School for Medical Missions in Egypt.

Palestinian Bible Society: Formally established in 1993, PBS’ primary mission is to make the Bible and other religious materials available to Palestinians in Jerusalem, the West Bank and the Gaza Strip. In addition to this work, PBS maintains Project Centers in Bethlehem, Bir Zet, Gaza, Jenin, Jericho, Ramallah and Nablus. AIC in particular has partnered in the past with the Jericho Project Center, the Jesus House of Prayer (now Zacchaeus House), which seeks to empower women and children to become agents of change in the local community.
